DIY Rosemary Scalp Serum: A 3-Ingredient Recipe

Shop scalp serums cost a fortune and hide their actives behind a long ingredient list. You can make a clean, effective one in five minutes with three things.

What you'll need

How to make it

Combine everything in a small dropper bottle (a clean, amber glass one is ideal) and shake. That's a about a 2–3% essential-oil dilution — safe for the scalp. Label it and store away from light.

How to use it

Part your hair and apply a few drops directly to the scalp, not the lengths. Massage in for two to three minutes. Leave 30 minutes or overnight, then shampoo. Use two to three times a week.

Patch test first

As with any new blend, dab a little on your inner forearm and wait 24 hours before using on your scalp.

Three pure oils, one effective serum. Build it from Asuka's oils → and read the method in our rosemary hair guide.
